REQUIREMENTS and DUTIES of the Interested Applicants includes the Following:

• Utilizes current maintenance management systems to procure materials and update staff.
• Receives, inspects and issues a variety of equipment, materials, tools and supplies.
• Ensures proper storage and maintenance of goods in the Stores area.
• Inspects incoming stock and goods to verify quantity, quality, and adherence to specifications before determining if a product can be received.
• Performs inventory counts and periodic cycle counts.
• Assists with the processing and maintenance of various records and inventory transactions.
• Assists with ordering equipment, materials, tools, supplies and services, including locating suppliers and pricing.
• Assists in getting required documentation from suppliers including SDS’s, business continuity plans, and emergency supply plans.
• Assists with salvaging reusable materials.
• Performs the duties of the Stores Supervisor, as required.
• Performs the duties of Building and Grounds staff, as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12 education.
• Successful completion of, or the ability to successfully complete within two years of date after hire, the following Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) courses:
• Introduction to Procurement
• Introduction to Logistics
• Introduction to Transportation
• Introduction to Operations Management
• Successful completion of a recognized forklift safety training certification course.
• Two years’ related experience.
• Possession of a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
• Current driver’s abstract from SGI demonstrating a safe driving record.
• Knowledge of procedures used in ordering, receiving, handling and control of goods and services.
• Knowledge of the equipment, materials, tools and supplies used in water treatment operations.
• Ability to operate equipment, such as a forklift, skid-steers loader, tractor, etc.
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Physical ability to perform the assigned duties.

SALARY:
$4,669.84 to $5,092.28 per month (2016 Rates)
